Don Hummer Trucking Earns Multiple Honors from Iowa Motor Truck Association

Company recognized for its commitment to safety and driver professionalism.

Cedar Rapids, IA— Don Hummer Trucking and three of its drivers received special recognition at the Iowa Motor Truck Association (IMTA) annual Management Conference this September. 

IMTA named Hummer one of the state’s safest carriers, citing their commitment to safety and excellence in their trucking operation. Additionally, three of its drivers—Lee Block (38 years with Hummer), Lewis Minehart (4 years with Hummer) and Lynn Trumpold (32 years with Hummer)—were recognized as Outstanding Professional Drivers, an honor given to experienced drivers with exceptional driving records. 

“The objective of this annual safety program is to highlight the companies and individuals in the State of Iowa that have demonstrated the dedication required to make safety a number one priority within their company. It is because of that tremendous dedication that the Iowa Motor Truck Association is honored to showcase these outstanding companies,” said IMTA President, Brenda Neville.
