With 30+ years in the transportation industry, Kirk brings a wealth of operational insight to his role. He has been with Hummer for last 15 years, primarily in Operations before transitioning to Recruiting. Now focused on driver retention, he enjoys getting to know each driver and helping guide their career path with practical advice and industry knowledge.
A strong advocate for Don Hummer Trucking’s supportive culture, Kirk often hears from drivers that their only regret is not joining sooner. In addition to leading driver retention reviews, he is also launching a “Road to Reality” program to mentor those new to the industry.
Outside of work, Kirk enjoys time with his four grandkids, golfing, fishing, camping, and watching sports.
