Company Driver – Dedicated Topeka
Dedicated Fleet: Topeka
Class A Drivers assigned to the Topeka Dedicated fleet run out of our customer's retail distribution center and deliver to specific customer store locations. CDL-A truck drivers in this fleet pick up loaded trailers at the distribution center and deliver to a single store, where they will swap trailers.
Normal store deliveries are drop and hook. Any specific runs requiring driver assist have drivers assigned to them and are not covered by the fleet.

ScheduleEvery week drivers will have two days off, except during the peak season. Delivery times require running nights, weekends, and holidays, including Thanksgiving Day and the day before and after. We have home daily, regional and part-time positions available for this account. Loads will be assigned based on available hours and customer demands – drivers will not have a dedicated run they can do with predictability. The dedicated fleet works together to cover all loads to meet customer demands and fully utilize available drive hours. |
Home TimeDedicated drivers should expect to be home for a minimum 34-hour break each week. Home-daily drivers will be home for their 10 hour break. |
LocationDedicated drivers must live within 60 miles of the distribution center to be home daily. Drivers on the dedicated account who live along US 75 between Topeka and Omaha can get home every few days. |

Pay & HolidaysStarting pay averages $95,000/year in earnings. Pay per mile is variable depending on the one-way mileage to each store. The shorter the mileage, the higher rate per mile to make all delivery runs equitable. Paid Home Time is offered along with six paid holidays. |

Minimum Requirements:
- Live within 60 miles of the distribution center or along US 75 between Topeka and Omaha
- Ability to drive personal vehicle to the DC
- Must work one weekend day
- Comfortable operating in typical Midwest winter driving conditions
